“No amount of skillful invention can replace the essential element of imagination.”
Edward Hopper 1882 -1967

My first initial thought to this was something rigid with something flowing. I immediately thought of my relationship with technology. A computer monitor: stark, a starting point. Through this invented device, thoughts and ideas burst forth from the user’s interaction with it. I wanted the monitor very heavy, black, and geometric. This contrasts with the fluidity, fine lines, and rainbow of colour representing one’s imagination and tangents. There is still some black found throughout, referencing back to the man made medium.
